Meet the Client
Building FUTURES Employment Society has served the Bedford, Sackville and Fall River community for over 40 years. Founded by parents in 1973, the goal of the association was to improve the quality of life of those living with intellectual disabilities who are leaving the school system.
Objectives
With a diverse group of stakeholders, it was apparent that the previous website wasn't doing a great job of communicating the excellent work performed by the society. Apart from basic information on team members, events or activities, the social enterprises that form the heart of the society were not able to promote their unique products and services, or process orders online.
Solutions
We created a design that represented the organization's identity and values. With e-commerce functionalities in place, we developed a contemporary, user-friendly website that allows visitors to understand the variety of social enterprises run by Building FUTURES, as well as place orders online. This empowered the team to efficiently manage orders and products without technical expertise, reducing reliance on external support.
